![]() She's also a shitty friend, as soon as she goes to the academy she forgets about Lainey (she knows she can contacts her but she doesn't) It's funny because in the first book, there's this scene between Riven and Phoenix and I thought 'they have a powerful friendship' but they don't. I wish I knew more about their background and their childhood. I didn't particularly feel the connection between her and her mates. She's the most powerful being in the world but she is so used to be mediocre that she just take the bullying. The mean girls (as ridiculous and cliché they're written) step on her all the time and she never fights back. ![]() ![]() I liked the beginning of the first book even if the story is really predictable and the author puts all the clues down the reader's throat.īut Aura is not a strong heroine (no matter what her guys or the professors tell her), she blacks out A LOT, she doesn't try to learn more about her powers or even trains. ![]()
